Even if it was, 'blackness' isnt' the reason for the crime. Well, unless of course we want to open the box of why that might be i.e poverty, poor housing, less educational opportunites, poor outcomes from mental health, more agressivley policed etc. which would point to systemic racism thoughout the UK and US.
