League Title or CL Final?

Is the question 'would you rather win a trophy or not'?
I'm gonna go with the trophy.

League no question.

Champions league, has been watered down with too many teams.

Anyone would want to win something over an appearance in a final but if it was PL or CL, CL all day long.

The day the club wins the CL is the day the club goes through the atmosphere and every other club will take notice and we will be set to dominate for years.

I'm usually more interested in the Champions league, but going off the start of this season we look certain to win the league (If the other teams don't improve). I'd focus on the league and take that as a main priority. We could win it by 15 points or more if we keep our form up.

That would remove any pressure from the Champions League which would help us perform better in that competition as well - whenever we've played the big boys we seem to look uncontrollably nervous!

As hard as it is to actualy say winning CL would be priority

UEFA are corrupt and obviously dont want us to succeed as are the so called elite G14 but for us to be classed in the Top end bracket we need to win the CL.

At this stage the PL and CL should be joint priorities, with the domestic cups being secondary.

It would be a major mistake to prioritise the PL over the CL or vice versa. Success in one tournament will fuel success in the other. If we come top of the CL group, undefeated, I would bet that by Xmas we will also be comfortably clear in the PL. If we flop in the CL I would expect that we might be top or close to top of the PL at Xmas but by nothing like as clear a margin.

In 2011/12 I thought after the 1-6 that we would cruise it in the league. Other PL teams teamed genuinely scared of us. But then our air of potential invincibility was undermined by our poor CL performances. We were held to a draw by a very poor Liverpool after losing to Napoli, we lost at Chelsea after our elimination from the tournament was confirmed. Being knocked out of the CL knocked at least 10% of our league performances and added at least 20% to our opponents performances.

People slaggin the champs league need to give there head a wobble, imagine Manchester City Champions of Europe in the Age of Messi and Ronaldo.

Imagine how the scum would feel.

Still love winning the prem obviously, but Europe would take us to the next level.

and they don't want us to win, imagine all those broken hearts across Europe when there's sky blue on that ugly trophy

League title because it isn't rigged. CL is just a cup competition that they have manipulated to enable the same teams to compete every year. Let me see whats the betting on Bayern, RM and Barca being in the semi finals plus one other. I preferred it when it was the European Cup without seeding, everybody had a chance.

Domestic dominance every time for me. No one really gave a shit when Chelsea won the CL, everyone knows/remembers the PL Champions!

Since it is our owner's big dream, i would rather the lads make it to the final and win it for Sheikh Mansour, it is the least they could do to repay him.

Definitely take a Champions League win if we did it playing expansive football and were widely considered worthy winners. We'd be the best team in Europe, which trumps the best team in England. However, when Chelsea "fluked" the Champions League, it was widely acknowledged that they weren't the best team in Europe and was just a 1 off, I'd rather win the title than do that.

Premier League for me because it means succession after succession of wins at the weekend making for a happy year.

If someone else won the league, I'd still regard us as 2nd best even if we won the Champions League

how can so many of you say league?

the chance to play in the final of the biggest football competition in the world? I think so.

can't help but feel some of you are being a little bit biased just because we've been so poor in the champions league...

And possibly lose, and United win the title? No fucking thank you!
