how can so many of you say league?
the chance to play in the final of the biggest football competition in the world? I think so.
can't help but feel some of you are being a little bit biased just because we've been so poor in the champions league...

Here is an honest question for City fans. In this season, if there was a choice of one ONLY, which would you choose? A 3rd Premier League title in 5 years? Or a chance to play at the San Siro in May? What would be more enjoyable and important to you?
Haven't you heard? Anything less than a quadruple this year and we're all going back to supporting Chelsea!

No, not at all!
Winning the CL is clearly a huge thing to some, and our glorious owner obviously wants it to happen sooner rather than later, but the question was posed and I answered with my own stance, I want City to dominate the PL for many years to come...winning the CL is largely down to luck, just ask the Rags and Chelsea if either of them actually deserved their most recent wins in the competition!

The question is worded strangely.
Winning the Premier League versus getting to the final of the CL (with the possibility of losing) well everyone is going to say the Premier League.
If the question is which one would you rather WIN then that's a real question and I can understand both sides. However there is a reason our owners want to win the CL. Football is a global game and winning the CL puts the club on the fast track to greatness. So for the long term benefit of the club as a whole, as opposed to the short term blast, the answer is quite clear to me:
The Champions League.
Spot on. The only issue is that some folks on here actually don't think the owners care about the CL.

League. I have more invested in the game every week for 38 weeks over a cup comp where the best cheats win.
Until we get past this concept we will always be little City. Its embarrassing to see this from our fans.

Every year we get the hardest groups,bad decisions and usually someone gets sent off,at least we know where we are with the PL
