As soon as Bernardo came on he gave us energy and a well needed spark going forward, our team as a whole though seems unbalanced and forced, we've gone backwards without a doubt

I think I have a man-crush on Bernardo!

People writing us off already is utter madness. The players are not yet at full fitness. Mendy needs to be moved on he isn’t good enough. Mahrez lacks passion for this club and needs to be shipped out if possible. Need Aquero back desperately

They’re writing us off because we don’t have the luxury of time to come good... Liverpool keep winning and when they need a hand there is always VAR there to help out...

If leeds can get 8 players back after we break off their corner, but none of our supporting players get there, it shows a lack of heart and effort.

Looking forward I think...

1) Bernardo looked great, obviously against tired legs, but he should be starting in midfield

2) I think Foden should go back to the false 9 role with Jesus out, because Sterling--Foden--Ferran has more pressing energy than with Mahrez

3) I'm not one that's gonna get upset at Mendy because barring the one mistake, I think he had a solid game and even pressed to make Sterling's goal. Although I think Ake should played more in an inverted role to get him accustomed there and rest Mendy, Mendy still hasn't played alot of football in the last 2 years.

That's pretty much it, maybe Dinho starts over Rodri, but for me that's a bit of a wash and not covering the real problem, which is the 5 up front getting bypassed easily.

What pisses me off more than anything was that late challenge on Bernardo only getting a yellow card. In what world is that not a red!

Yes it was a red. But there were 30 seconds left so almost certainly it wouldn’t have benefited it

It would have benefitted whoever Leeds are playing in the next 3 games..

How does Pep gets so much leeway in here or at the club. He is not doing a fucking favor coming and working at City.He is paid extremely well. Barcelona and Bayern board never allowed him this. This is not a freaking internship where he gets rolling months to decide whether he is going to stay at the club or not. Just sign the fucking extension or move on.
We can't let the rot set in. We are no way better than rags if we let this happen

I think this goes deeper than some players not playing well things just seem wrong in general at the club. I was dismissive of people saying last week that maybe we need to change things up but after today and seeing the same things again I am starting to worry.

The crux of the problem is that our manager has been found out. He either needs to change his tactics or move on. The former will never happen. So sooner the latter. We need fresh ideas and tactics. Our team is stagnant and incredibly predictable. Teams are simply not scared of us anymore. They know how to beat us. But the biggest problem is our manager doesn’t know how to beat them with them knowing what they know.

We were straight through Leeds about 30 times & had no idea what to do when we got there.

There was one second half I think it was Bernardo ran through and sterling was actually dropping back behind him. He had no runners at all and 4 defenders ahead of him.

It was a crazy game - pretty old school.

Liverpool beat Leeds with two pens. We could have two pens but got none. That's a big difference. Blame Pep, Txiki and the players though.

Had Jesus or Aguero been on the pitch we'd have won that easily.

Dominated the game couldn't turn some great attacking opportunities into efforts on goal. No fulcrum in front of goal.

Mahrez and Torres didn't offer much.
