Sam Allardyce's first interview as the new Leeds boss and he mentions Pep's name among others purely to make a headline... Hopefully that is enough for Pep to make sure we go strong at this lot from the off. Unlike last night when we seemed happy to be passive and less energetic.

Big Sam feels Leeds are good on the ball, it's just without the ball when they become a shambles apparently. Good news for us that we dominate possession against far greater sides than the one he just inherited, and I don't believe the gravy drinking clown can instil a solid defence out of that lot with 4 days prep.

Really looking forward to Saturday, setting off in the motor from Edinburgh around 9am, into Asda car park, something to eat, bit of City Square action and hopefully, 3 points in the bag for the drive home after...

This match is trickier than it looks.

We have to find the perfect balance between a strong 11 and resting players for Real Madrid match.

Only a genius could do it and win both match, so...

Pep, it's your turn.

Leeds have taken absolute canings from the likes of Palace in the past four weeks (and others that you'd expect it of rather more). Allardyce is not going to turn that round in one week. I'd be astonished if we're not four points ahead of Arsenal when they have to rock up at St James's Park on Sunday.

Expect a flatback 10, Fat Sam pandering, and some stoic defending. We may be lucky to scrape a 0-0 or narrow defeat. Feel this Bolton barmcake will steal the show. A pantomine villain in the making.

Or, we could show up with a midfielder that delivers and holds, plays box to box and tear into them...

Multiple sub plots.
Who will Pep rest?
What can we expect from BFS? 5-4-1?
Is KDB fit?
Just go out and smash them boys.

Could be a tricky one this, what with us being up against the best manager in the world and everything.

He was only sacked from West Ham, Blackburn, Newcastle, Everton, England etc because he was doing such an amazing job it was showing everyone else up.

Phillips has to start surely?

How much attacking do we think they're going to do with Allardyce? Only chance of Rodri getting a rest unless we get the league won with games to spare.
