I tell you all now that Allardice knows exactly what he is doing. I know for a fact that he told the top brass at Leeds exactly what he was going to do and what he was going to say - to grab the headlines for himself and take the pressure right off everyone else.

He's trolling everyone and everyone's falling for it. Fair play to him. He's gone up in my estimation to be honest.

Leeds aren't going to come and play football, they'll operate with a low block and play long balls.

We have a core pool of about 16 or 17 players all of which are first team quality. It will be from this group that the starting 11 for the game against Leeds will be selected most likely. Lewis and more particularly Philips do not belong to this group. They are very unlikely to start this crucial match despite the trip to Madrid next week. This game will most likely follow the pattern of the West Ham match with hopefully the same outcome.

We might have under Garcia's Leeds but not under Allardyce. It will basically be everyone behind the ball and try and get their two nippy players to hit us on the break. Leeds are a strange side. They play some good stuff going forward but we're all over the place at the back. Can Allardyce have them well drilled enough with three days training? We'll find out tomorrow but it's now a bigger banana skin than West Ham due to that dinosaur's input.

Allardyce couldn't drill a team in three years let alone three days.

People look at his 11 man-block and mistake it for a "well-drilled" defense.

A bit concerning that Pep has said he saw tired players even in training yesterday. We have Madrid after this and if they sense tiredness they will look to end the tie at the Bernabeu. With another game before then, the tiredness is only going to be worse. Perhaps wholesale changes tomorrow, and one of those disjointed performances where we just hope we have enough. A calculated gamble.

Pep is in a tough spot with Rodri for sure. I thought he look tired against West Ham, and I don't blame him as he is forced to play almost every game. I'm thinking we will have to roll the dice and rest him against Leeds. This is where Pep really earns his money.
