I like Sosa but not as good as Cancelo going forward and probably not better defensively. If we are to sign a LB then it has to be more of a defensive one imo. Then Pep just picks the player depending on the game.

He's not as good as Cancelo no, but look at the space Grealish and Gundo had on the left side yesterday, a natural left footer eats that up all day. Sosa would have had a field day, whether he can be taught to come inside and drive like Cancelo is another matter.I like Sosa but not as good as Cancelo going forward and probably not better defensively. Had a few injuries yes but if there is any one that can fix him then its us. We even managed to get Rodwell to play a couple games in a row!Is this lad Sosa not injury prone ?

Apologies if this has previously been answered but what happens if Mendy found not guilty? I thought he was currently suspended by the club. Trial starts this week, could potentially be found not guilty and then what?

Still think Sergio Gomez would do for now and then go back to Argentina and get Valentin Barco from Boca Juniors next year. Still ridiculously young, granted, but already apparent he’s going to be an exceptional leftback and our interest in him is longstanding.

Barco looks a great propect, not sure he'd get a WP without a massive fee. Sergio Gomez looks the favorite now we have had our pants down, but do not rule out Davis, we have all seen how tourism ripped the Spanish league up, well take a look at the German league finances now the car market has frozen
