Leicester City (A) - Post-Match Thread

KDB looked tired towards the end - surely we should be resting him for Madrid games ? Foden should have started v West Ham and maybe Leicester - league over weeks ago so may as well throw him in from start in PL games - he will never improve if he doesn’t play

Resting KDB for the Madrid g
Shit penalty, keeper didn't save it. The ball hit his knee. The penalty was so bad even if keeper dived opposite way probably would have hit him as well. Really bad penalty.

This. Could have gone either way or stayed where he was and saved it. Dictionary definition of a shit penalty

Commentator's voice rose every time Leicester attacked, and seemed sexually aroused whenever Vardy touched the ball.
The side commentator, whoever he was...his controlled excitement at the natcho/schmeical incident....easily outdone by the audible long groan after no pen decision..

Really hope the rags go all out for Maddison in the summer, Didnt get a kick against us twice this season. He's bang average.
Ive always thought that.
Will always remember when maddison passed that easy square ball to Foden last summer, central midfield for England...then Foden set off on that mazy run through their defence and scored the kind of goal that maddison could only dream of...And yet maddison is the media favourite.
Then Foden was dropped,no sorry ,'rested' for the next game.....Always being held back that lad.And players not fit to lace his boots are all off to play for the national side. How sad is that?

Best game Mendy has had for us, threatened all game which was nice to see and Fern solid as always for us.

Thought a few up top were off the pace today - nothing stuck with Kun and KDB had a bit of a shocker but delighted to get a win with a clean sheet against a decent team.

Roll on Madrid.

I felt the same agaisnt West Ham hopefully his time will come.

Mendy ? No better than Kolarov - had an excuse when he was returning from injury - but world class left back ? Never
I would have agreed with you up until the last month/six weeks. I know they're rare but I have seen a few games recently that made me think that maybe..............maybe he could perform

The rules are rubbish but they specifically refer to the position of arms.

Yeah, agree. It’s just one of those “great if it’s yours, horrible if it goes against you” type calls. After the Villa game it becomes a bit wearing.

Just listening to 606 from last night and they've gone to the half time report at our game and the commentator said ederson clattered nacho and could have been a penalty.

As we know ederson got his hands to it and put it onto nachos head then there was the collision, surely they have monitors and replays and it slowed down like we see.

I find it odd that a player can be done for a ‘high foot’ in midfield yet a keeper can come out like that and take everything

I didn’t like what Ederson did, I thought it was reckless. The ‘got the ball’ argument doesn’t apply anywhere else on the pitch so why there?

Maybe I’m being harsh because I have a soft spot for Kelichi but I don’t think I am

you are being harsh as the goalie has as much right to go for a 50/50 as the forward. Eddie was 100% focused on reaching the ball and did so. Shame Ian got clattered as I too have a soft spot for him and have been really impressed by his development this season. All part of the game though and Eddie would have been rightly criticised if he had pulled out of that and a goal scored.

KDB had a bit of a shocker?? More like he was 9 out of 10 rather than 10 out of 10
