Just seen Mahrez's goal again and Demichelis nearly joined me in 107 for a brew when Mahrez did that stepover.

You have to laugh

Manuel Pellegrini spent the entirety of his career as a centre back for Universidad de Chile, You wouldn't think so looking at that defence, it's like Assistant manager Brian Kidd was tasked with overseeing the defensive duties this season..
No Hart today literally will someone tell him he can dive for the ball... Today we made them look better than they were for some unknown reason. Players constant misplaced passes crosses that can't beat the first man pissed me right off..
It's the curse of the GPC every time that twat is allowed in to watch a game at our club we play like a bunch of individuals the very next game..

Inept performance today let's hope it was just a blip..

I felt sorry for him at that point. He must know his race is run in any league. Still why play Sagna at CB when he played well the week before or Clichy at LB when we have been more solid? No need to do that, it's only Leicester! Clueless one strikes again.

I give up trying to comment during the match, the server had the right idea to kick the bucket. What a terrible peformance overall but we was passing it very well sometimes in the first half but heaven knows what happened second half it was terrible.

Well, long time member, few posts, but I am entitled my say..... It costs me roughly £150 to see City play at home. We discussed on the train on the way up how LCFC could beat us
and it happened as we discussed, which to me is inexcusable. If the layman in the street can see what might happen then why cant City's management?? and people ask why are we replacing MP?
Have a look at today terrible display. I left early today, my choice, and why shouldn't I ??

Fucked off myself when the third went in, fucking disgusting display, not worthy of the fans turning up yet again in big numbers, big sections of the support appear not to give a fuck either, flat atmosphere which mimics the crap on the pitch with a dour fucking boring manager at the helm.

Thing is nobody is surprised at the results of late and that's the real worry.

The idea that Pellegrini doesn't get the team to focus on how the opposition play is either naivety or arrogance. Both are traits of a terrible system of management.

In one of the Pep articles they tell a story of how he pored over footage for a midtable opponent for hours to find out how they could be beaten, and executed his gameplan accordingly. The contrast is stark

Kolarov and Delph : Guilty for this pathetic marking over Mahrez.

Manuel : Guilty for using Demichelis to mark Huth. He is one of the softest defenders after Βlind in the league and the german maybe the strongest.Mahrez ball was very sharp and difficult to block it .Martin had to force him to miss it with his body.

Demichelis : Guilty for letting Mahrez cut inside

I would rather we didn't have anybody injured, but yes, between him and KDB, I would rather Sterling.

KDB can grab a game by the scruff of the neck and make an immediate impact. He is dynamic and has a football brain, similar to David S. He can also play in deferent positions and put in top quality performances.

If you're happy with what Sterling has produced, then you're the type of shit happy clapper fan we don't need. In fact, we do need you, as we have to pay big wages to our £50 million pound average player.

Wake Up! A large proportion of the stadium is saying and feeling the same.
If anyone thinks Sterling should be at our club they are not a City fan. He stunk Liverpool out all last season so I don't know who scouted him for 40 odd million. The lad could not give a fuck, don't get me wrong others are guilty as well but he in particular is one of the worst offenders. Never has a player taken so much from club and delivered so little.

Will do - pm me your seat.
In all seriousness you're being extremely harsh, he's been hit and miss all season but overall his positives outweigh his negatives.
He's going to be a superstar for us in the next couple of years.
What positives have you got from him this season?

Agree mate. Kolarov instead of Clichy and no Sagna? The lad has been our best player by a mile this season and is solid. As you say, far better to play him on the middle instead of Demichelis

Sterling? Goals, assists, showing plenty of energy and when allowed to play his game (ala second half against Everton) he looks far better than when being restricted.
Was in the group stages CL team ahead of plenty of big hitters.
Can defend from the front. All things that will only improve once Manuel says cheerio.

Let's see under a decent manager next season.

I don't think Silva is regressing but I'd agree with Yaya

Maybe I'm being harsh on Merlin, he does have the odd rough patch for us. He just seems off the pace and he's not finding the final ball often as we're used to.

And they key bit being "when he is allowed to play his game" which under Pellegrini he isn't.

At Liverpool he was exciting bit it didn't all come off. He doesn't seem to be allowed to do this with us.

It's time for him to be given free reign to take some chances.

I have to admit I was surprised & disappointed when I saw the team sheet before the game. We know that Leicester are a team who get players behind the ball, work very hard & use the pace of Vardy on the break. We also know that Mahrez is one of the most skillful players in the PL. MDM has been a good player but he is now very slow. We know Yaya doesn't defend any more. We know Clichy is a better defender than Kolarov. With this prior knowledge it seemed to be playing into Leicester's hands to field a team with full backs who are going to press up the field with lots of space behind MDM & Otamendi. Everyone tells us that man for man City have the strongest squad in the PL so doesn't it make sense to minimise the the oppositions main threat & play deeper with your best available defenders: Zaba Sagna Otamendi Clichy? That way you may need only one defensive midfielder, Fernando, to give cover to the back 4 & allow you to play Silva, Fernandinho & Delph behind Kun & Kelechi or Sterling.

Surely then you'd think that our better players would beat theirs.

I imagine Ranieri was rubbing his hands when he saw the team sheet :(

Lol - missed this beauty before I replied to your other post. You think Sterling doesn't give a fuck?
