Yeah they want to buy him in 2017 when his release clause comes into play for 37 mill euros, much lesser than what we pay.

Though if I was him it wouldnt make sense, he could have a bad season or Munich find a better option and not opt for him in 2017.

You would think Schalke would be keen to sell now rather than later in that case.

It depends on how much it is worth to Schalke that he plays for one more season. If he makes the difference between qualifying and not qualifying for the Champions League, it is worth quite a lot of money. Lastly it is also a matter of what the lad actually wants himself. Maybe he sees it as a big step to move to and live in the UK. How old is he? 19, 20?

Well it has been reported that they want to keep him this year to get them into CL as mentioned by Jazzman. Also, it depends on the player, if he wants to say no to us for Bayern, Schalke cant do much. That said the logical choice for Schalke and him would be to take a transfer now and not lose on the money or the chance in hand.

Still not in the starting line up, but guess who is??? Pep's personal pet project Josh Kimmich gets a start!!!!! Sané should see that and want to join us/Pep. 2 years under Pep should see him featured for the World Cup if all goes well.

But Kimmich does not have to do anything with Sane. For me it is more surprising that he does not skip Götze for Sane - but than Löw would have to put his own pet project Özil onto the left side and let Müller play behind Gomez (what would be smarter anyways as he is way better pressing, tackling and nearer to the box...)

Looks like we might be good on this one boys!

RN - ruhrnachrichten - are the most reliable newspaper in Germany when it comes to Schalke and Dortmund, and they've just run this article on how Embolo is going to Schalke, a move likely only possible because of Sané funds.

Awful google translate :

Endeavours for fast striker could be an indication of an imminent departure of Leroy Sané . With a Sané [sale] the Embolo transfer could be easily financed . Christian Heidel made clear once again : "You can only spend the funds that [you've got] .

It's more so that Kimmich was playing in the 2nd division prior to Pep/Munich and Pep coached him all the way to a now starting role for Germany. That should be looked at as a postive for Sané. If Götze continues to fall off domestically that should open the spot soon enough for Sané. Being at S04 got him in the door but joining us could cement a place in Germany's XI versus staying and hoping Bayern utilize him next season.
