On the squad size question, I'd be really surprised if Pep didn't have to use a slightly larger squad than he is used to. He used a core of 15-17 ish players at Bayern, in order to keep people playing. But that's because they play fewer competitive games a season - plus they have a winter break.

I imagine he'll have a larger squad, but still want to stick to the principle of using them all regularly.

His camp know the lay of the land better than we do at Dortmund.

There is clearly no desire to sell. How many times have we wanted players to go the extra mile to earn a move to us?

The word in Germany is that most of the scouts who watch Sane think he's going to end up a centre forward.

Cheers mate.....didnt know this......if true, it would seem Aubameyang and Sane would fit the same space.....I always felt if we signed Aubameyang we wouldnt go after Sane as both could fill that wide position we need.....if Sane is also seen as a Forward as well as a wide player....maybe its just a case of which one(not both!) that we can sign first?

If that is the case it will be Aubameyang, Sane deal is apparently on hold according to TH as he is at the Euro's
