Makes a lot of sense. I think he's added more control to his game which he previously lacked but still offers something different to what we have now, can cover both sides, can replace Mahrez's goal output and he hopefully wouldn't need any bedding in period and knows exactly what to expect.

That was always his role, he only ever played LW for us due to sterling needing coaching on the right for parts of his game.

Hopefully now we know we need a winger and with that conversation we know he’d come back we go for it. Do wonder about the money, how much would Bayern want if it’s him pushing for it now then? His wages?

Though Kingsley Coman was their biggest threat by a mile. I'd rather take him. Though having peak Sane back would be great. Can't see it happenning though.
