He's not as polished as Kane. He's 23. That's to be expected. Kane is 30.

Kane's ability to drop off and link play is the main difference between the two at present.

If Haaland could play passes like that one to Grealish vs Spurs on a more regular basis, he'd be on his way.

I don't think there's much between them, but as someone said, kane is a more complete footballer, but that's to be expected with his experience. I expect Haaland to be miles ahead of Kane when he's 30

I disagree. Erling's as good a goal scorer as Kane, but in no way is he anywhere near as good a footballer.

HOWEVER, I've noticed Erling's workrate, touch, shielding & passing has markedly improved this season.

Last season, balls were bouncing off him & his passing left a lot to be desired, but this season there is absolutely a definite improvement on all fronts from him, so given his age & all round improvement over the last 12 months, the future bodes well if he continues to progress at the rate he is.

As for Leroy, is his workrate & physicality any less than that of Mahrez?

I'd like to see him back, but I can't see Pep being keen. Leroy wasn't a guaranteed starter in his last season with us (that he was fit). And, IIRC, Pep wasn't impressed with the way Leroy (and/or his people) "engineered" the move to Bayern.

If we lose Bernie, Sane has to be in the conversation. Not many natural replacements for Bernie if he goes so I think sane can do a job for 2 seasons.

We can’t take a player who will take a season to settle I’d rather use Bob.

I actually see Bernie finishing is contract off for one more year then leave.

I would like sane back if Bernie goes
