He was been targeted by Moses and the Wilan down that side and defensively couldn't cope, brought Clichy on but he fared no better and was useless going forward.

I thought Sane had some great moments today, going past players for fun and finding a good pass afterwards.

He's never a LWB though, should have been in the front 3 alongside Aguero and De Bruyne.

He hasn't got his positioning and pressing going yet which i suppose is why pep hasn't played him much but going fowards he looks very exciting,i suppose pep thought clichy would do his job but he was useless,never put a tackle in or try and nick the ball so that was a waste of the sub

Me too. Thought he was my motm and was sorry to see him taken off. Maybe he isn't quite ready for 90 mins. Big game and a big performance from him.

Glimpses today of what his potential is. Hopefully he gets game time now as we are crying out for a player who actually takes opponents on. His run at the heart of their defence is something to build on. Exciting prospect.

Cliche coming on was the right call but we should have gone with stones at rb and played a flat 4 and pushed Sane up the wing or behind Aguero.

Some good moments, but being effecively a wing back is a difficult job for a 19 year old. He will become more tactically disciplined, there were some glimpses. Ok today.

More a strange one than poor. I'm sure Pep was seeing something we didn't, but I thought we were worse after he came off.

Superb today and Pep got it wrong , because everytime Sane picked the ball up in the 2nd half the Chavs were retreating like a (Conte) Italian Tank hope Sane gets a run of games he looks like a potential game changer

i think he's talented, but I'm not sure what he brings to us really thats any different. i think sterling is miles ahead of him right now. hopefully he ends up the top class player i hope he will be

Apart from that lovely run through the middle of the park in the second half he looked like little boy lost.However he undoubtedly has the talent and sometimes it takes longer for some players to get accustomed to playing in another country.He`ll come good of that I have no doubt.

His best performance today. Played well when going down the centre as well on either wing. Defending is a foreign language to him that he does not speak. He may learn that though.
