Yes he should. He deliberately kick an opponent from behind. he could have seriously injured him.
If you condone that, that is your preogative.
Q. If one of our players had been kicked like that would you still be stating your case?

Ask yourself why I'd answer your question when you've offered me no such courtesy?

Under what law of the game is it a red? It's not it's a yellow.

With regards you question, I've answered earlier, I think it's a yellow all day long regardless of team.

I hear ya, but you must understand that we clearly know there's an acceptable level of physicality in the premier league and this falls within that. There's no point saying it should be a red when week in week out we see far worse tackles go unpunished.

I'll even go one further, that if Kompany's is correct and is a yellow(and I thought he could have seen red), than Sane's is certainly not deserving of anything other than a yellow.

Someone who lashes out at another player who is not in possession of the ball and has no intention other than kicking a fellow player is reckless - end of. Have another look at the incident without wearing your BTS

I thought they were both red to be fair. By rule, I just know I'd want a red card for both if they were against us.

The referee, as they all tend to do, made a rod for his own back with his decision making but that shouldn't detract from right and wrong.

When we go to Turf Moor you can bet Lowton will remember yesterday.

However, again by rule, if it annoys Sean Dyche then it can't be all bad. We got away with a few, we move on hopefully with it out of their system.

@mosssideblue where in the laws of the game is reckless mentioned with regards violent conduct? It's not.

You're right, it is wreckless, it is petulant, it's just not excessive force, brutal or out of control.

"commits in a reckless manner a direct free kick offence"

This is a yellow card offence according to the FA.
It's the very definition of what actually happened.

Ok I will leave you to read your rule book - we disagree

It was all of them, or are you just on a big wind up

For me, Kompany's was unintentional and Sane's deliberate. One could be a red, the other most certainly should have been

Unintentional meaning reckless. I've just been told Sane's was reckless, which it wasn't as it was most certainly intentional.

Kompany's is the more dangerous of the two.
