Yeah because jagielka is out till november, it will be cover for lescott and yobo, face it your not gettin lescott. Moyes and bill kenwright come out last night saying he isnt for sale. so close this thread, plus lescott even come into training sayinhe doesnt want to leave, have a good day :)

This is a very similar situation to the one we're seeing between Chelsea and John Terry - the club is being bullish about the fact that these players aren't for sale, putting the onus on them to make the decisive move by requesting to talk to us/handing in a transfer request if they want to get the transfer.

Crucial difference is, I can see Lescott doing this - in which case he's ours - whereas I can't see Terry doing it - he has far more vested in his allegiance with Chelsea. Lescott isn't Everton's Captain, he's only been there three years, he's not from the area, and he's not been coming out with 'Cut me and I bleed Everton' comments for the last 5 years - he can hand in a transfer request with very little come-back. For Terry it won't be so easy!

Its pretty simple as are all transfers when money is not the overriding factor , if he wants to come and we want him he will come.

Everything else is immaterial sorry to say to any supporter including ours.

A company i deal with who sponser Everton think Lescott is very interested in what City are doing and he thinks he really will come to us ,i am no itk or wum i just talk and deal with this company daily and he is always down at Everton ,He also told me he thinks we will go for Upson where that comes from god knows.
