Everton are about £50-100m from being a top four club.

And the rest!!!

Everton are a lifetime away from being a top 4 club. Shit, it's laughable for anyone to suggest they have what it takes to challenge the Sky 4 Cartel. That's not a slur on Everton as a club, the job Moyes has done, or some of the good solid players they have...

If DSOB had any humility he'd accept that and move on...

The Everton soup tastes wonderful I believe . We know this because it is a proven recipe and we've all tasted it . At the moment , City are still in the kitchen m8 . Your mouth might be watering at the table at the smell , and who can blame you , but the term ' proof is in the pudding ' comes into play here .

This is somewhat akin to Bolton Wanderers under Allardyce, your football is similar also. I agree Moyes has done a fantastic job, but not that much better than fat Sam did at the end of the day (and with more money)!

Ha ha . I need to go to the shop , but revenge will be mine lmao .

In the meantime , I suggest Billy reads up on the laws of contract and the fiery red head that is David Moyes .

For those going on about Everton finishing in the top four once, keep in mind, even Hearts managed to finish above Rangers in that monopoly of Scottish "football" but nobody was screaming that Hearts were going to be able to sustain it.

Everton are a long way from a top 4 side. Forget about the 12 point gap last season.

WIth their injuries and certainly if Lescott leaves they will be weaker this season than last, same goes for Villa (but more so)

We are clearly going to be much stronger than last year, we have kept all our good players and are adding half a dozen or so better than what we had ; and also better than what Everton already have to a great extent.

Also we dont have the distraction of the Europa 2 bob league this season. It took a huge amount out of our squad getting to the quarters with just the league and domestic cups to concentrate on plus a much stronger squd we are in a much better position than both Everton and Villa to push on in the league.

There can be no doubt Everton are going backwards if anything.....

They will do well to finish in the top 6 this season Imo with the players we are bringing in + Spurs will be much stronger with a decent manager and the players they are looking to sign.

Lets see what happens, I still find it a bit pathetic that Everton fans feel the need to spend so much time on a City forum ! Obviously very worried with good reason !
