Spot on that mate.

No its not right, if Everton are so great why did ADUG not invest in them? Thats what I want to know, they clearly thought we were the more viable option. Everton can't get any investment that says it all to me.
they came to us cuz our friend the doctor was in a spot of bother, and this club was about to implode, the doc actively went out and tried to find a buyer ADUG obliged, everton weren't out looking for buyers then! you seem to forget that before adug came in our situation didn't look good, in fact i'd hate to have seen what would of happened to us, imo it could have been worse than going down to the 3rd tier football! you need to remember this kind of stuff before you post your incredibley arrogant statements! bit of advice enjoy being a city fan we deserve the good times again but dont forget where we've been, its what makes us city!

Value for money. With City they got a state of the art 48,000 seater stadium without actually having to pay ANYTHING for it. ADUG bought City, the stadium came with us as a really nice freebie. To buy Everton they'd have had to spend at least £200m building them a new stadium if they wanted to progress. It's not easy to get investment, there are only a finite number of people willing/able to invest to the level required, and every club wants them. If rumour is to be believed ADUG had a serious look at Newcastle before being put off by the asking price from Ashley (quoted at about £400m). We've got very, very lucky.

ive been hearing we are after lescott anybody know anything about this!

Please proceed to scroll down the page of the link until you come to the table of trophys and how many each team have won.....To your dismal 12 (many of which are division 2 trophies hahahaha weak) we actually double your success... with... Yes 24.

We are a much bigger and much more successful club than yourselves...Fact!

The difrence between Everton and Shittie in current times is $$$$$$$$$ and $$$$$$$$ that only...

If you want our player pay up - 30m please.....thankyou.... and we will still finish above you...you havn't the manager nor the fans to ever become a club like Everton...forever in United shadow...You belong in the second division were the majority of your "success" has been.

Stats don't lie...

Oh its a grand old team to play for....AND IF YOU KNOW YOUR HISTORY...its enough to make your heart go wo-o-oh

Wrong, Manchester Bourgh Council currently own our stadium, we just own a lease. We are in the process of purchasing the freehold from them.

Thats bollocks, Bill Kenwright never stops harping on about investment. We were doing just fine before Thaksin and ADUG came we still had a greater turnover than Everton and better players coming through such as Ireland, Richards, Nedum etc so come on be serious.

No, in fact you're wrong. We're not even attempting to purchase the freehold. I'm well aware we don't own the stadium, if we had owned it then it would have been an asset that ADUG would have had to purchase when they bought us out. As it's owned by the council they didn't have to buy it, all they have to due is abide by the agreement already in place regarding gate receipts etc. Hence they get a football team who can play in a 48,000 seat state of the art stadium, and they didn't have to pay a penny for it.
