It's obvious Moyes doesn't want to sell at any price and if Lescott was desperate to move he would have handed in a formal transfer request already. Time to move on to another target of better quality, especially if > £30m is what Everton might compromise at we can get a lot better at CB for over £30m than Joleon bloody Lescott.

i agree, i think that just by having Tevez and Barry in the line up we will be stronger defensivly, both players will run back as needed and help out. also with our front line i believe we have players capable of holding the ball up so it isn't coming back at us as quickly.

If a player isn't going to put in the shift now they won't be in the team for long.

i think we should say £20 million take it or leave it, 48 hours to come back or we move on. don't forget these are the guys we need to overtake to get in the top 5, do we really want to throw money at them

I have to say we have shown we're more than capable of playing dirty e.g. Palacios bid to force spurs out of the running for Bellamy. I'm happy we did this against Redknapp cos he's exactly the same but to be fair to Everton, all they've done is say "this is our player and we don't want to sell him." Those is wot the rules is.

i have just given the kiss of death to everton, i never win when. i have a bet cause i always back who i want to lose. i always back who city are playing cause at least if we get beat i make a few bob and if we win i dont mind losing a couple of quid. have backed everton in betting without the top4 at 5/1, finishing in the top 4 at 10/1, top premiership scorers ew i have done yakubu at 66/1, saha at 40/1 and jo at 50/1, cause its top 4, just got to do the cups now and they are in for a crap season.

Its clear for this to happen Lescott had to put in a request and publically ask for a move. For whatever reason he doesnt seem to want to do this and it probably wont happen now because of this.

I did say all along it was stupid to let them have Jo on loan without him being linked to the Lescott deal. They havent paid a loan fee for or all his wages we should recall him and loan to a side lower down the league or abroad IMO.

If Lescott doesnt push for this move he will regret it and it wont take long for it to sink in the opportunity he has missed.

I hope we dont get Bassong he really is shit !

Yes he's miles better than Ned! Neds got so much he needs to learn and improve on we shouldnt cast judgement about how good we think he is until he gets to his mid 20's! If he stays still now and doesnt develop at all anymore than his quality now he'll be playing for Blackburn or the likes in his late 20's!

I dont understand how people dont know how good Lescott is!????
