In the current transfer market Lescotts value is probably around the 15-17 million mark. He is well better than 6 million. Put on the city inflation and 22-24 is probably what we are actually paying.

£24m minus £16m is £8m not £6m. In my opinion he is worth around £8-10m at best. Then again it's not my money.

all depends how you look at it.

If you believe he is half as good as Terry (remember english defenders are always over priced) then £24 million is about right. If you believe he is a better player or just as good as upson (who is allegedly worth £15 million and lescott 4 years younger) it is around the right price. For all we know it could be £20 million up front with £4 million based on future success.
