No. He just doesn't want to sell. Why is that so hard to understand? And all this talk of Lescott being 'unhappy' at Everton is tosh. There was no sign of unhappines until City came waving thier wallets. Face it, there is no way Moyes is gonna allow this move to happen. All this vitriol towards Everton because they won't sell you a player. The arrogance of wealth.

Fuk off! Everyone wants to play for City... Who wouldnt? ;)

The sooner we draw a line under this transfer the better.
It has got to the point of embarrasing us.
Plse City issue a statement today ending our Interest
We need after watching the Rangers game midweek 2 more decent defenders and we need them PDQ.
If there is a flaw with Hughes this transfer window it is this ongoing pursuit of Lescott that should of been ended 2 weeks ago.
Same old City.

Nothing to do with arrogance mate, we are desperate for the right defender at our club and most here think we've been patient enough and now it's time to move on.

Don't get Arrogance and desperation mixed up.

I have NO problems of Everton wanting to keep Lescott, thats if they do? Just wish City would start turning there attentions to someone else soon.

id take Distin over Upson anyday of the week
Upson-30 Distin 31

either way i don't want any of these as my view is that Neds could do a better job than them.

Just my own view before people to slate me!

Maybe Ned could but we need more options and more experience for now.

And 30/31 for a central defender is not such a big deal

Very good lol

I just want to add that we have shown that as soon as we feel that there is no deal to be made, the club has issued a statement to that effect and we have moved on.

Despite Moyes's rhetoric, we havn't done that, i still think that this will happen.

Upson would be brilliant fo rus for 3 or 4 seasons. West Hams owners are desperate, they are close to bankruptcy so I cant see any problem getting a deal done.

Offer them Ben Haim and £10 million they would take our arm off.

We should have walked away from this deal a week or so ago the player has never shown he was willing to do what was neccessary to make it happen.

Remember when we were trying to sign Given in January the amount of shit and fuss he was kicking up in the press and via his agent was unreal plus of course the all important written transfer request. Him leaving probably sent Newcastle down and he did it anyway !

Its time to show them who's boss I'd put £30m on the table and watch them crumble then, we need this player our defence is a joke.

They'd be pissing themselves about how they just ripped off "the boss".

Then they'd spent a half of that money finding someone better than Lescott, another couple of squad players and have enough left over for Bills next play.

Yes but we woudln't be tenth at Xmas and that is all I'm arsed about.

Liverpool have had a £6m move for defender Michael Turner rejected, with Hull demanding £12m.
Full story: Daily Mail

That would be another big gamble for them. WOuldnt want us to go for him.
