Remember this Mr Moyes.

What a great employer they are. Plastering their employee's private correspondence all over their website and releasing it to the press.

Everton are just being daft now, if he has handed in a transfer request then he obviously doesn't want to play at Everton, think it's time for a new bid if you ask me

Moyes is playing a silly game here...Lescott clearly doesn't want to be there. No player should be kept against their will in a situation like this - heck, Gollum is potentially denying him a once in a lifetime opportunity here.

Still, sure we'll up the bid and nab him. All part of the chess game of signings.

Credit to Lescott.

Think it will make future players think twice about signing long term contracts at Everton?

IMO not over yet, especially since gollum came out yesterday moaning how he needed more players in but had no money, think it is paving the way for the " we didn't want to let him go but we needed the money, it's not our fault, City are killing football"

I was thinking that too...funny how he came out with that yesterday and Lescott's transfer request comes out the day after. Everton are skint and everyone knows it now.

Everton have released this information. Its official and Everton have put it in the public domain. Lescott has put in a written transfer request and Everton have rejected it.
Lescott will be a City player very soon.
