at least now we know who he wants to play for

Can anybody think of recent comparable precedents for this situation? I think the received wisdom is that once a player makes it public that he wants to go, he usually does.

You know what makes me laugh about all this? Your arrogance since you got a cash injection.

"Everton aren't on our level anymore"

Fair enough, you've got a few quid and you're buying up all sorts of players; but what the fuck have you done recently to justify being better than Everton in footballing terms? Weren't you in the third tier of English football about ten years ago?

The only way Lescott will be leaving us is if you lot pay £30 million in cash, £22 million plus Jo or £18 million plus Jo and Onuoha.

Your rating nedum onouha at 4 million... some scousers really really are deluded. And btw hes just signed a new 5 year deal.

You can have jo for all i care.

Yep and in those ten years we have been promoted 3 times and relegated once and yet here we are with the likes of Tevez, Robinho, Adebayor, Ireland, Barry, Toure RSC. Galling isnt it?! In those same ten years, you have been close to relegation, produced a style of football that is efficient but makes Bolton look like Brazil and are currently in regression with your best player demanding to join a club who were in division 2 only 10 years ago!

Want a tissue?

Onuoha 4 million ??? You clearly now fuck all about him then. Id rather keep nedum than buy lescott for 25mill ffs

They're the only deals Moyes will go for.

If you want to throw money round and act like Billy Big-Bollocks then you'll have to give something up.

Why ? your buying Sendaros... Imagine your all well happy with that one.

Alonso mate

Did Barry hand one in last year for Liverpool, or Tranny for Madrid?
i dont think they did. Im sure Barry criticised MON in a newspaper but that was it and Tranny said last summer he would stay at utd for another year.

Read the post of your fellow Everton fan, he would sooner sell Lescott to one of the top 4 than us, ask yourself why is that???? Everton finished 5th why would you guys even want to consider selling to a big 4 club? Unless you know that you are never going to challange at the level?

Its not arrogance but unfortunatly for everton its a matter of fact. everton have hit the highest point they can get to, they can go no further. Thats not my opinion thats quite clearly the opinion of aplayer who has been there for a few years, if Lescott thought he could get to the top with Everton he would stay. City may not get to where we wanna be but it seems clear that over the next 5yrs barring a complete balls up City will finish higher than Everton more times than not
