bull shitting...where in a field? in your front garden?where is this bull shitting?

Re: lescott

If we're gonna get him, he needs to say 'I want to play for City instead of Everton'. Everton don't need or want to sell him.

"Money? Someone say money?"

Things have certainly turned around for EFC if they don't need the money. I watched Kenwright give a typical Kenwright interview last September, just after City were bought, and he was whining to fuck about them ALWAYS being hard-up and really needing outside investors.

I agree, i can't see the son of Gollum letting him go at any cost!!!!
Possibly because you're a dirty cloth.

I think its because he is a dirty RAG!

Spade a spade and all that....

Re: lescott

All we know for sure is that Hughes will want to bring in defender(s) before the end of the window, probably before we start pre-season, and they ought to be significantly better than what we've got.

I'd like Lescott as it would weaken a rival but at the end of the day there are other places we can go to get players of equivelant quality or better - no biggie.

Re: official move for Lescott today...

personally hope we leave him... moyes is a much more able manager with little money and if we gave him 18m he would buy 2-3 players of lescotts quality.

No news is good news :o)

Even if you keep Lescott Everton are still screwed, no money, no new stadium and no new players. Coupled together with Aston Villa over taking you, City overtaking you and Tottenham overtaking you means you will no longer be in Europe and no longer will you be competing for anything apart from midtable.

Everton fan here, as I'm sure you can guess from my username. Anyway, in terms of Lescott he is one of the best defenders in the country there is absolutely no doubt about that. He's been here for 3 seasons, his first and second were absolutely brilliant with him getting our player of the season in his second and last season he did well, but received a lot of criticism especially in the media due to a handful of mistakes he made in the first month of the season, for the rest of the season he was top notch but Jagielka outperformed him in everyway so he didn't get much praise for a good season, but he really did.

I can actually see this happening too, which I'm gutted about but if we can string you for £18mil plus Jo, I won't be too gutted despite us losing one of the best defenders in England. In the past when Arteta has been linked with a move away, he has came out that day and categorically said he is staying, as has Pienaar and Cahill. There was some twobit story on our site the other day saying "Lescott stays" but if anyone actually read the story, you could see that he didn't say anything of the kind - alls he said is that he is not going to force a move away.

We obviously don't want to sell him but it'll lie down to the player so I'd expect some news on it within the next week, if he wants to go then sound but I'd rather he said early rather than on the last day of the transfer window like a certain Wayne Rooney.

Just read the last couple of pages on here and seen someone call Pienaar limited? Absolutely PMSL, very limited indeed. :|

Anyway, good luck next season - hopefully without Lescott. I can see you replacing Villa in the top six most certainly and I'd expect you to be our main threat to hopefully breaking the top four.

Who are the reliable posters on here regarding transfers to your lot anyway?
spurs mad, hes got everything spot on so far
