Re: official move for Lescott today...

Lets get it right. Jags had a good season. Richard Dunne had a great season under Sven, as did Micah Richards who attracted 22m bids from Utd and Chelsea only to be of form this season. Let's see him do it for a few years before you get excited about him.

I'll stick my neck out and say the deal will be closer to £25 mill .
I can't see Jo on loan being too much of a bargaining tool with Yakubu coming back , plus a probable striker on top .
£18 mill with Jo on top as a signing I'll go for , but not as a loan .
There is still a chance that he'll stay though .
yea i think he is worth 25 mill i mean look dani alves cost 24 mill so yea :S

Alves is a right back :o)
and........ ?
sorry but lescott is never a 25 mill player i would imagine that if we did get terry it would be in the region of 25 mill

If yourselves and Real want to push prices up , then you can't really cherry pick can you .
Alves' deal was worth about €40mill over time , not £24m .
Terry is overated , and a one trick Pony .
Lescott can play two positions , and I hope he becomes incredibly overrated , and we get the best price for him .
Or he might stay :o)

Re: official move for Lescott today...

Everton fans - Is lescott any good at organising defences, communicating etc. Is he a talker at the back or does he get told if you know what i mean?

The is not a chance that that Lescott will stay. The money will also help you keep Rodwell for a couple of years until one of the big four take a fancy to him

Sounding like a cocky chelsea fan there Prophet. They have lost one of there best players, i'd be gutted if i was them.

Didnt mean to sound cocky. However, the deal suits everybody.

Lescott doubles his wages and joins the most ambitious club in Europe
Moyes gets £18m to invest in the rest of the team, and gets Jo for another year.
Yes he is losing a good player, but he has a nack of buying good players so im sure he will get a good replacement with cash to spare.

Re: official move for Lescott today...

was going to say, Rodwell impresses me everytime i see him. if we are in the mood, i'd get them now rather than later.

I would say not as much as a defensive leader as Jags , but he's ok .

No Lescott tattoos yet then lads ?
