Ned is not and will not be a part of any Lescott deal, Hughes has gone on record to clear this up already !

On the 23rd of July Mark Hughes said:
"Nedum is one of our finest young players, He was outstanding for us last season, and I am not looking to move one of our prize assets away from City."

There is no financial or tactical reason for Hughes to go back on this statement and it was made after the first rumours of everton wanting Ned surfaced.

Ned is UNTOUCHABLE.

The lad where I work is an Everton fan and when I mentioned to him about Lescott this morning he just said

'Youve bought all these players but still havent captured any of your real targets - Terry, Kaka etc'

What a prick!

Hope we dont let big Ned go.

Tevez and barry? fuck me everton could'nt even sign Carl Naughton.....

probably wont come to the transfer request, all he needs to do is let Gollom know that he would rather Everton negotiated themselves the best deal they can or he will be prepared to formally request a move if the deal is jeapordised, that way Everton can continue to play hardball to push the price up, Lescott will still get his move and we get our man IMO

agree must keep ned

IF Ned were to go then Hughes wants shooting - this kid needs to be a key part of our future and we hardly need the money; my concern is Hughesm is buying for NOW as he sees his future as short term - IF we do not do well this year he is probably out of a job, therefore why build for the future? This still worries me - want to see this sorted and would rather keep ned even if it meant not getting Lescott

As has been said on more than one occassion..........NED IS GOING NO-WHERE.........so relax.

Another thought........Tevez, Lescott....surely we have to go for Ribery as well....we will frighten the opposition to death in the tunnel never mind the football pitch.

Could you imagine lescott and ribery on the left. it would be interesting to see a game played entirely on the right hand side of the pitch!

O i what a team we will have top 5. I think we should sign Lescott for 25m. He is a brilliant defender. I think we dont really need to sign a replacement for LB if Bridge is out stick Lescott there and Ned in starting 11.
-----------------------Given/Taylor/Schmeichel------------------
Richards/Zabaleta---Toure/Onuoha---Lescott/Dunne---Bridge/Garrido
----------------De Jong/Kompany---Barry/Johnson----------------
-------------------------Ireland/Elano--------------------------
Tevez/SWP----------------------------------------Robinho/Petrov
-----------------------Adebayor/RSC/Bellamy--------------------

Great team cant wait for start of season.

The inbreds on 606 are claiming they have turned down a 20m bid from us. Nothing to substantiate it so maybe a bit of scouse humour. More a case of wishful thinking than reality.

Well other than the fact that Moyes said he would.
