Perhaps Moyes will do a Sir Clive Woodward - and write a book on his infamous management techniques and strategies. The title will probably 'How I make all the decisions'. I doubt we will have read the like since Mein Kampf (if you've read that particular bag of shite)!

For criticising his attitude which was obvious to anyone who watched the Arsenal match?

I watched the Arsenal match and didn't see any kind of bad attitude displayed from the player. Despite him saying beforehand he wasn't in the right frame of mind to play.

But no, I am talking more about the "thought he was a good lad...", "bad attitude", "let his teammates down" comments that used the player as a scapegoat for his own ineptness in this particular saga. The hypocrisy displayed from a man who left Preston but a year into a 5 year deal is astounding. How dare a player want to improve his salary by 150% and arguably his career prospects at the same time. What was he thinking suggesting he wanted to take up the offer, and shame on him for being pissed off when the opportunity was rejected out of hand by Everton despite his formal transfer request that was made public by the club. Of course we should expect his attitude to be 100% following all of that....

Superb post.

Have Sky announced what time the presser will be? I'm bored out of my skull and might nip down to Eastlands.

Which he had already made your manager aware of by handing in a transfer request and then telling him he wasnt in a fit mental state to play. But no, Moyes knows best.

Didn't have much of a choice but to play him.

Seemed ok to play without him for your last 2 matches. Be honest mate, it was Moyes one last ditch attmept at showing his authoritah and nothing to do with Lescott that you got tonked.

anyone know the time of press conference.....................

City have'nt announced the player so there is no conference as of yet. Sky said they will bring it later on the assumption there will be one as he has'nt signed yet! Guess work by SSN.

I'd really love Lescott to go all out in this press conference. Not to be disrespectful, but to put his side of the story across as Moyes did him foul

That was a cheap shot from Moyes though. Lescott said his head was wrong and asked not to play - Moyes made a decision that Lescott had to play and then had the cheek to crtiticise him Lescott had done the right thing, Moyes overuled him and then Moyes had the audacity to blame Lescot when it was clearly him that was in the wrong.

Has the fee actually been announced by City or Everton ? I dont think it can have been as the BBC and Sky are both reporting different figures. The speculation is between £22m and £24m and is probably correct, but I dont think either club has confirmed anything and it will probably officially go through as "Undisclosed" (Allthough Sky will always report it as "A reported fee of £24m)

We were ok without him for the last 2 matches because the quality of opposition was obviously a lot less. I like Pip but he just isn't a CB.

So you are ok with a 1-0 defeat to Burnley ? Not Lescott's fault but if you consider a 1-0 defeat as "Ok" you need to stop kidding yourself that you are contenders for anything other than mid table mediocrity.

The Burnley loss wasn't just down to the defence, Neville didn't do too badly that match but Isn't the same as having a propper Centre back.

How much is that in real money?

That site is rubbish but it would be 24 million of that money you people use on that island there.
