Not sure we can take you seriously bearing in mind Pedro wasn't even on the pitch!
But seriously I think it's fair to say we need a better center half than Lescott to partner Vinnie but Lescott is the best we have at the moment.Tonight I would agree that he mostly had a very good game.Positionally good,attacking the ball at the right times and got some very good tackles in but clearly a goober for the killer first goal.
Yes a bit lucky to get away with the penalty but anyone can be done by Messi with his quick feet.That bad pass was perhaps the only bad one he made all night and he made some very good ones.Vinnie made an equally bad one attempted to Yaya which was cut out and left them running at us but of course that gets forgotten as he is Vinnie.
But I suppose it's what football fans do to have a go at certain players and tonight with that mistake it was always going to be Lescott.Even ahead of other players who we needed to be on top of their game but who just didn't do enough tonight.
