I like a calzoni, and had one at San Rocco on Broadway Chadderton a couple of weeks ago, and very nice it was too.

Best food in the world. I'd eat it everyday if I could.

Spread Eagle in Romiley do a belter, had it last weekend. Best I've had is Pizzium in Milan. Fucking hell that was special.

I often really fancy a pizza. But everytime I have one, I get bored halfway through it. Maybe I don't have enough toppings to make it interesting? I only like thin and crispy bases, and can't be doing with some of the silly stuff out there as toppings like chicken, tuna or ffs pineapple ....

Due to kitchen renovations we only have an air fryer at present so we folded our Tesco pizzas last night and basically had calzoni. Worked a treat.

Thin base is a must - Italian guy I saw said when visiting a new pizzeria order the original - the Margherita. Reason? If thay can't do what is effectively cheese on toast they don't know what they are doing...... oh and avoid pineapple
