now suggest his replacement, if you dont know then shut the fuck up

The level of personal abuse on this forum when people post an opinion is a disgrace.

If he were paid Garry Cook's wage then it would be up to him to find a replacement, as he isn't he should be allowed to voice his opinion to the club, the forum and the world without being abused. Time for Cook to earn his corn.

Sorry, I thought this was a fan site, not a counselling forum, sorry for troubling you all. U couldn't point me towards a City fan site, could you, it would be much appreciated.

I mean this with the greatest respect, but why would our Cheif Exec take advise from a fan when he's being ordered around by some of the richest people in the world?

If we get 5-6 more bodies in during the window i think we'll move up the league... Just because we have all this money doesn't mean we have a right to be at the top of the league... We have to build a squad and a team and a winning mentality.

It seems fans expectations have become distorted by our new found wealth and they want everything handed to them now... When did we start thinking like that, its ridiculous.

Agree. This is the essence of the next two years. We have to build slowly but surely. What is hard to swallow is the two random steps back every wet Thursday of each month. What seems to be inexplicable, unless I am missing a simple explanation, is the godawful performances served up by a team composed of 80% of the same team which delights with its forward movement. I had little thought that we would not dispatch Forest with the advantage of playing at home but . . . . .

SIGH!!

let me have a guess at their reply

Mr X,
Thank you for the letter of concern

Best Regards

MCFC

Your right, I'm sure that will be the response, but it doesn't mean that it's not a worthwhile thing to do. If we work on the theory that it's not worth doing unless there is a strong chance of success what are any of us doing supporting City? we should all become rags, because like it or not next year they will have a better chance of winning something than us.

He was widely considered the best appointment (possible behind scolari) at the time...

He was? By whom exactly? I can think of only three. Cook, Kenyon and Franny Lee

Cook was in the job 5 mins, Kenyon had not been told by Roman that they had done the deal with Scolari some months previously and Franny Lee is to spotting mangerial talent as GW Bush is to Middle East diplomacy.

Outside of these three geniuses no one was getting a stiffy over the thought of Hughes managing their club.
