Life without kids??

never wanted kids, thought I was too selfish to make a good dad, then suddenly there she was, 24 years later I still can't believe how stupid I was. Without a doubt the best thing that ever happened to me

Each to their own, I guess. I'm sure there are fleeting moments where I think "what if we didn't have kids", but I can't really remember many. Having children has enhanced my life immeasurably. It's not for everyone, of course, but I can't imagine life without them. It's undoubtedly the best thing I ever did.

Be warned. If they "persuade you" to have one, they often then want another!

I love em but find it hard work, especially the early years which are brutal at times. I found it a bit easier from about 6 onwards!

Ha, I keep thinking that but a friend gleefully informed that it's a piece of piss until adolescence kicks in. That's something to look forward to, I guess.

Adolescence is great. I need a translator nowadays to understand my son when he talks to me.

I absolutely, wholeheartedly love my kids and always tell people that it's worth it...but i'm also happy as fuck that the in-laws decided to have them tonight so I can get some kip!
