We have just given Grealish a big contract, big extensions for Dias, Ederson, KDB and Foden.

We want Kane, again big contract.

Can even our wealth cover Lionel for a couple of season? I have my doubts.

And please don't use the Messi generates his own money comment, I am not having that in terms of MCFC.

We have just signed Grealish, the new poster boy of the Premier league and if he is successful with us, probably the new poster boy of world football. He is now our marketing dream, not a 34 yr old fella, the kids want Jack not old man Lionel. And the kids are what the marketing man wants.

That's just some of the big names lol to add a million pound a week Messi they'd surely have to sell?

I would too when I am dreaming but I think Messi is compromised now. He is at walking pace off the ball and when his team gets it they give it to him and he switches on. It may work for Barcelona to an extent but we couldn't go to Anfield like that.

Exactly, for all we know Kane might be very close to joining us so there's no way we suddenly shelve that deal for Messi, would be unfair on Kane and not very professional from City. Not arsed about Messi at 34, but we need Kane

If we pulled out on Kane to sign the little fella it would stink the place out and destroy all our hard work in making this club so attractive to players.

Not a lover of Kane, but he has a golden bollocks reputation, he is the Captain of England, and his is prepared to put that reputation on the line to join gods own club.

That to me is admirable and to stab him in the back now would be a total disgrace and damage us badly long term.

Messi at 34 new league, new culture, massive gamble and a hugely expensive one even for a wealthy club.
