18.00 Portuguese/English Time.

Less drinking time before the game, more drinking time after the game!

Home game at 20.05 English time.

Cascais is a nice place to stay just 30 mins
by train from Lisboa and if you walk along the
prom towards Estoril there`s a beach bar full
of City stuff (owner ex manc) who used to give
us free drinks

Cascais is great, sadly John David's beach bar which has lots of City stuff behind bar is closed for the winter as we went by last weekend.
We also went to see Sporting in Nacional League game, they scraped a one nil and were poor, home crowd on their backs all game! Easy to get to via cab or Metro, both 10 mins from centre.
As in Porto beware the SuperB0ck at the ground is sin alcohol (without!), though was funny in Porto watching people buying big rounds to neck before game!

This is on my birthday, would love to go. Probably can't afford it sadly.

My 50th was Kiev last year,went with family,great trip I couldnt really afford - youre a long time dead mate!

This makes me laugh on every Euro trip, and some swear there's alcohol in it when in fact it's just the alcohol from their last round in the bar getting into the bloodstream!

Only decent flights I can get land in Faro at 10:40 and next train to Lisbon is 13:41 but doesn't get you there until 17:00. Bit tight for a 18:00 kick off for my liking plus we will miss all the drinking beforehand.

Anyone know of any coaches going from the Algarve on the day of the match and back the same night?

Antonw any thoughts / ideas on how many tickets we should get for this ? Went over to Villareal without tickets and they sold them on the day in a mixed Zone which was Ok. Wonder if thios will be the case again.

If possible try liverpool mate thats who I saw. Only problem is needing to book a half day on the wednesday too
