Things to do in Lisbon
As Sporting have just taken a 3 - 2 aggregate lead, it looks as if we are going there next month, some things to do (other than sup beer)
Tour of the Stade De Luz (Benficas ground), well worth a few hours
A boat trip up the river with a guide on board (and a complimentary beer)
The Military Museam
The Torres Verdras battlefield were the British fought the first battles of the Napoleonic campaign (though maybe an hours drive from the city)
Tram up to the castle on the hill
a visit to Belem and the tower
for people like DeNiro who might be bringing their children, the Aquarium is superb, and close to the Expo centre, with a cable car for those with a fear of heights, and a casino for those with a bit of excess cash for those without 27 year old daughters :-)
Please feel free to add more things to do in Lisbon.
