I must say I admire anyone that's admitted to owning an Allegro.

Straight up mate there used to be a suped up black and silver one near me about 20 years ago, body kit and everything, have to say it looked pretty smart, looked a bit like a Mki Astra, (never saw it moving though).

MG metro (rusty pos)
Ford Orion (Ghia< wtf does that actually mean?)
Golf Vr6 (most fun car I've owned)
BMW 328 (boring)
BMW 335 (unbelievable economy 35mpg with 350ish bhp)

Been saving for an M3 for a while but with the new shape coming out next year I'm a bit wary of spending all that cash, new M3 wont be a V8 though. I must be getting old as I quite like the look of a few estates now, the Audi S4 Avant looks very appealing.

1) Rover 100 - first car, funny times in that!!1
2) MG ZR - great handling car, loved every minute of it!
3) Ford Focus Sport - shit car, underpowered and just crap
4) Mondeo ST TDCi - shit hot car, had every extra on there, sat nav, tv's bluetooth etc.
5) Ford Focus Zetec S - Got it this weekend, amazing to drive, has the 19" RS alloys on it so handles like a go cart!!! Love the car, here it is.

Always fancied a Triumph Spitfire as my first car, but ended up with...
... a G-reg Vauxhall Nova, sought out by my dad. It only had a 1.0 litre engine, but boy, could I get it to go.

The Nova was with me for about 5 years, whereupon I was duped into leasing a Daewoo Lanos (X-reg?).

Had the Lanos the pre-agreed 3 years, by which time I hadn't any money left for the deposit on a new car, so I ended up with a cash-bought Rover 214, early 1990s model.

The Rover managed a season in north London and Norfolk, plus 3 months in Germany, then gave up the ghost with a knackered timing belt and an even more knackered engine. Changed the engine, rather than scrapping the whole lot in Germany, only to sell the car at a loss when I came back to the UK.

Another move abroad, another car, and back to Vauxhall. An Astra estate, 1.8 diesel. Can't remember how old that was, as I got it re-plated in Norway, and the Nog plates don't reveal the age of a car. Three good years of service, sold on to the guy taking over from me, then...

... one year without a car.

I've now got a 2001 Toyota Hi-Ace van. It's good at collecting rust, plus transporting the dogs around. There's also enough space to throw in any dead reindeer that may be lying by the roadside.

Can't think how much money I've wasted on cars. I'm absolutely useless at finding something decent, rubbish at bargaining a price down, and even worse at maintaining vehicles!

I got offered one as a company car when offered a job by British Midland Airways. However, being far more with it and trendy I opted for a Morris Marina 1.3 coupe in hearing aid beige. It seems incredible now, looking back but I thought I was as cool as fuck then.
It was only many years later I realised I looked a right ****.
