The way i see it is Villa will end up at Barca and Eto'o will come to us.
I was told the targets we was going for in May and and when Eto'o was mentioned i was told we was going after him at all costs.
We've already had one meeting with his reps and were going back for more so there must be some flexability in his wages otherwise we wouldn't of gone back.
I reckon the Villa descision has held things up a little but i can see us coming to some sort of descision by next week on this.

One thing is for sure if Hughes has told he wants this man at all costs then Khaldoon will deliver!!

Never gonna happen like but oh well. I would love Eto'o but tbh I haven't rated him for 2-3 years, he hasn't been prolific enough, I know he scores lots of goals but I watch Barca every week and it takes him like 4-5 clear cut chances to get a goal (tin hat on lol). I really like Villa and he is the best striker in the world imo, but like I say, not gonna happen I'm afraid.

A club wouldn't decide the 10th July which is over 2 weeks ago to announce signings that are in advanced stages.

In fact, the club would only have a rough idea. Considorring its Advances stages 10th July is a long way off.
