It' a good dilemma for pep. Sterling or Silva. Each have their own qualities. Sterling will come good against the grief monkeys at some point and on his day he is a handfull for any defender. Yet Bernardo is so good at ball retention and he is now getting the goals. I am not nervous at all. Bring it on. 1-3 to the boys in blue.
Merlin all day for me... He (and Vinnie) were the missing ingredients last time

Gundogan did well enough against Chelsea. Not quite the blow I used to think it would be.

The worry is that both get booked as both are 1 booking away from suspension. Fernandinho has been well disciplined when walking the tightrope and with a strong ref he should be fine.

For all the hyperbole in the build up to this, is there any chance that Klopp goes a bit cautious, concerned about the away goals? 0-0 anyone?

Worried if Laporte is again left-back, up against Salah.

Pep taking him off towards the end at Everton smacked of saving his legs?

Salah might have to defend out wide a bit deeper to protect Alexander though against Sane.

Nahh he be fine he’ll took in with Otamendi and Kompany with walker more forward if they press we will hoof it over them.

a repeat of the Basel away performance at Klanfield, with Raz scoring a brace, Henderson slipping on his a*se to gift Sane a screamer from the edge of the box, and El Maggo tapping in from close range at the death will do me.

If Carlsberg did Champions League Quarter Final Away legs.................

Dick van Djik has gone full dipper. Telling the press Salah will destroy us.

I think it'll be the same as against Everton in terms of shape (kind of a 343 on the right and a 433 on the left, if that makes sense) but with Gundogan (who he likes to play in these big games) in KDB'S role and KDB in Sterling's.

Regardless of the setup I think Pep will start with 3 of Silva, KDB, Gundogan, Bernardo in order to control the game more, esp. early on. Can't be giving them an early lead.

G.Jesus was excellent at Everton and is better suited to this leg than Aguero, whether he's fit or not. Let Kun score another title winner at the weekend
You may have just nailed that team selection. Looks perfectly balanced for away at Anfield.
