i think we should park the bus.....mourinho is actually a good manager ...we could ask him for advice

1 change from yesterday assuming everyone's fit.

Bernardo for Raz. Sergio on the bench.

I think the first 11 have enough to win the game but there's some pace, power & goals on the bench if needed.

This will be as much about mentality, organisation & concentration as anything & we've got it all !!

The formation yesterday was a try out for Wednesday

We played a hybrid of back three / four but with walker playing as a winger/right midfield

Can see the logic with Liverpool’s main threat coming down there right, it make sense to play a more defensive option there and keep tight to Salah , a bit like Young did with him for the rags

We also brought sterling in closer to the middle rather than out wide , meaning we were playing with two central forwards. This was as a result of walkers position.

De Bruyne also dropped into that right sided channel and he was the man starting most of the build up , him and Fernandinho were always open for a pass, pep has learnt from the Anfield game where pressure was put on Fernandinho and he was exposed

I would expect the exact same team on Wednesday as yesterday

there,s only one way to play liverpuds....beat them at their own game . attack the full backs where they are weak.

Personally I think we'll beat them 1 - 4, 2nd leg will be a dead rubber. They're really not at all good, looking for "famous" atmosphere's, wearing lucky underpants, burning candles isn't good enough to beat this special City team.

sane wiiide ....i would start bernado silva instead of sterling. hope sergio is fit ...kdb and david causing mayhem in midfield. fern being his usual world class hold mid

Good observations Charles. Spot on.
