Liverpool (A) Post Match Thread

They're a real weird, cultish fan base. Seriously, they are worse than United fans by miles. Read RAWK and Red Issue and you get a fair amount of sensible, honest discussion on RI whilst RAWK is just full of bile.
RAWK is inhabited overwhelmingly by people who are genuinely deranged. The inability to see any game, issue, opponent with even 1% of balance is nothing short of a study in serious mental health issues. It should be compulsory reading for any psychiatry student. I read it occasionally if I am ever struggling for self confidence, I come off there feeling like Einstein.

I find the Milner booing embarrassing. He left because he wasn’t getting picked for the big games and wasn’t getting played where he preferred.

The opposite of Sterling who left to make the step up, he needed a step down.

Exactly, it was a good move for him because he found a manager who valued his specific skillset and he has been part of a successful era at Liverpool. If he had stayed I find it very unlikely he would have suited a Pep side with his preference for more technically gifted midfielders. Sadly peoples view of Liverpool is skewing their view of Milner.

I’ve never felt the need to boo an ex City player in my life. I hate when opposition fans do it and would like to have thought that we were better but we aren’t. Distin and Sturrridge spring to mind too. Aren’t people aware that they are looking at situations from a totally one-eyed perspective? A player wants to join us and he’s a hero, a player wants to leave us and he’s a villain.

It’s like the fucking pantomime, it really is.

I agree. My lad was a nipper collecting autographs and Milner was brilliant on more than one occasion. Many were not. A really nice bloke. He had to leave to get game time. Booing him is pointless.

Has anyone any idea what Henderson said to Silva to cause such a reaction, nevermind the 2 fouls. I know what I think was said but might be viewing this through my blue blinkers

Nah he’s a wanker who gave it big from the moment he picked up his £6m signing on fee, he’s a dirty **** as well. Always remember him smirking when we got beat 4-2 at OT, think his last derby, without his snide cheating yesterday we would have won. Twat.
