Liverpool (A) Post Match Thread

Exactly, it was a good move for him because he found a manager who valued his specific skillset and he has been part of a successful era at Liverpool. If he had stayed I find it very unlikely he would have suited a Pep side with his preference for more technically gifted midfielders. Sadly peoples view of Liverpool is skewing their view of Milner.
As per usual you are wrong.

Milner making out he was going to sign a new contract and then not doing so, spouting off about not playing much, when in reality he had played a lot of games, stating he wanted to be a CM as a reason for going, ending up playing fucking RB. Slagging City off when given a chance, shithousery during games v Liverpool.

Not one of those things are to do with Liverpool FC.

He wasn’t given a second yellow for a trip on the far side in almost exactly the place he was tripped up earlier by Milner. It was quite late on, maybe 85mins or something.

For me, it wasn’t a second yellow. Unlike when Bernardo was tripped when he was running into space to start an attack (the epitome of a booking), the player he tripped was going nowhere, it was just a foul.

Bernie made an innocuous challenge late on, it was debatable it was even a foul let alone a yellow card, in fact Bernie was about to remonstrate and then looked at Tierney and thought he’d better not give him an excuse.
What was funny though, was right at that moment, I absolutely knew, the dippers would use that to try and even it up, so so fuckin predictable!

Aaahhh that, yes I remember now. Right, balls to that, complete whatabouttery bollocks, that was never a second yellow. Ta

First goal can go either way, Eddie is racing out of his goal and, on another day, could get something on Mane's shot.

But Salah's shot with his weaker right comes right across the face of his goal and hits the opposite corner of his net.

The ball has travelled a fair distance and not the first time Eddie needs to take a look at himself on his front post.

The Red Bull game was another game where you start to realise Eddie isn't a shot stopper.

If it weren't for Rodri, we'd all be livid with him today.
Bravoderson

What a classless club. Spitting is second nature. Clearly acceptable as Carragher does it in a little girls face and amazingly keeps his high profile job. Horrible **** of a club. Mo Salah is one hell of a player but your club is disgusting. A lot of history, much of it very dark. Snidey spineless spitting cunts
Tell us what you really think

The mess up with the free kick at the end aside, I thought Ederson was sublime yesterday.

I can't think of a single other goal keeper who can do what he does to that level.

His composure levels are outrageous...........

Corruption. Only explanation possible for the referee AND VAR ignoring Milner fouling Foden in the box first half followed by refusing to send Milner off for a second booking in the second half.

When do we think corruption will finally be exposed ?

its only a matter of time before a whistleblower comes forward.

Sterling just got no belief, he looked like he slowed down so didn’t have to take a shot. Bizarre.
Yeah,

When he is one on one with the goalie he either kicks it straight at him, or tries to pass it. Does anyone have the stats for how many he has missed/scored in this situation?
