Despite all the gloom and doom merchants on here, we still have the best midfielder in the world. If KDB produces the goods we can win this.

We also have the best English midfielder in the country - young Phil. But I can only see him starting if Pep plays Fernandinho at CB.

As mentioned think we need to see Fern back in his natural position today to control the midfield. If we don't win that battle doesnt matter whose in defence we will struggle.

Let Salah, Fermino and Mane at our back 4 repeatedly and we'll concede too many and will lose. We have to offer protection for our back 4 and that means Fernandino and Gundogan (or Rodri if fit) need to work their bollocks off. Bit stupid that we let the new about Rodri and Silva out, if it is true. That should have been kept a as surprise.

It’s impossible for anything to be a surprise. Those dipper scouts/physios will probably have moles in the City camp. There’ll be some dipper working for us somewhere doing an inside job.
