Liverpool (A) | Ref Appointment

I think everyone is more pissed that we lost another clean sheet than anything else ... and that to a soft soft penalty that could on another day not be given. That is where the anger or disappointment generates from and then of course the penalty looks bad and then comes the VAR not showing offside lines for Stones goal ... it's the Stones-Dias liking bias that's causing all the stir ... other than that, happy days, 4-1 at Anfield what's not to like (yeah, 5-0 would have been even better or even 4-0, but hey ho here we go)

Penalty aside and a couple of incredibly soft free kicks for them, I didn’t think he was that bad.

The penalty is one of them, it’s a dive but because he did touch his arm the ref gives it. They then can’t overturn it.

It was soft but in real time I see why he gave it.

I am more annoyed at Salah and the FA, who won’t retrospectively punish the cheating fucker.

Who says they can't overturn it?

You mean won't?

Not sure if this has been mentioned, why didn’t Fabinho get booked for our pen but Dias did?

Fabinho got a yellow for a cynical foul when Foden was through in the second half that he wouldn’t have been able to do if he was on a yellow.

Not so bothered as we battered them, I actually don’t think it was a booking either but neither was Dias’.

Oliver best game even though that pen for Salah was as soft as fcuk!

There was one I thought was a distinctly bad call.

When it was 1-1 Raheem had a break down the left and put a decent cross in. Foden was near the penalty spot and, as it seemed to me, got taken out by Robertson before the ball came to him. Given the penalties Oliver gave Leicester, and given how soft the Salah penalty was, I couldn’t see the difference but it wasn’t given and of course Sky didn’t show a replay.

There was a 50/50 chance we’d have missed it anyway, but at the time I thought it was a very bad call. I also have this feeling it would have been given at the other end.

No offence lads, but if you’re still quibbling about some fairly subjective calls when we’ve just dicked Liverpool 4-1 away then it feels like you’re just actively looking for reasons to be outraged. Just enjoy the win ffs!
Agreed but on other days we don't score four and these calls matter
