Different breedOh, what a surprise, the Spirit of Shankly rears it’s ugly head and big Scouse gob again. Who the f*ck do they think they are?
From the Liverpool (FC) Echo.
Liverpool supporters' group Spirit of Shankly have also expressed their displeasure at the move.
“We acknowledge there have been issues involving both sets of supporters in recent seasons, but this course of action is counter-productive," said a statement. "At the corresponding fixture last season, Liverpool fans experienced overzealous stewarding and policing, and were locked in the ground after the match with no access to toilets.
"Such undue treatment of supporters serves only to increase tension, which SOS fed back to Greater Manchester Police at the time. Now, it appears, Liverpool supporters are to be penalised further.
“We understand reduced allocations at the Etihad have also happened to other clubs, which don’t seem to be about away fan behaviour, but poor crowd management."
Not much self awarness going on in that statement.Oh, what a surprise, the Spirit of Shankly rears it’s ugly head and big Scouse gob again. Who the f*ck do they think they are?

I personally saw about 50 things thrown in the first 10 minutesThey are blaming city for bad 'crowd management'. They fail to mention the 50 plus objects that were thrown nor the scarred for life female

Have City issued a letter of apology yet?
Slight correctionCan you imagine the indignation at City when The Premierleague contacted City to complain about the reduced allocation, and to tell them they were going to complain about it to their mates at Liverpool.
100% right. The lack of a real challenge to their behaviours over the years has allowed an untouchable aura to surround these cunts. The media are 100% culpable.Unless I’m mistaken the decision would’ve been taken or at least advised by SAG (Safety Advisory Group) - possibly in conjunction with the police - and City wouldn’t have much say in overriding that. If Liverpool have a problem then instead of moaning at City and the PL, they should be taking it up with SAG. Good luck with that one you moaning scouse bastards. After all, when it comes to safety at football grounds that club more than any other should be well aware of the importance of that, given that lax ground safety was partly responsible for 97 of their fans being killed at Hillsborough.
Oh, and while they’re on one, why not call out the **** who is directly responsible for 600 of their fans being denied a ticket for the match.
Post deleted. Updated.
Keegan did mention it.
It comes after a 15-year-old girl was left 'scarred for life' after a pint cup weighted with coins was thrown from the Liverpool section onto home fans at the Carabao Cup tie in December. (along with a picture of the City scarf with the girls blood on it)
That move appears to have not gone down well at Anfield, ahead of the April 1 clash at the Etihad Stadium.
"Liverpool have confirmed that its allocation has been 'significantly reduced' with the reduction 'agreed between Greater Manchester Police, the local Ground Safety Advisory Group and Manchester City'. It added: 'LFC has been in contact with the Premier League and Manchester City to challenge this decision. The club is committed to having as many supporters as possible in stadiums for Premier League and other away fixtures.
You missed the paragraph following your quote... So I've added it for good measure."In order to achieve this the club will actively encourage the practice of "jibbing in" by having senior club officials urging supporters to travel without tickets AND refuse to adopt measures that could render counterfeit tickets useless. "
No but they have sent an email to all City fans saying how the 2 clubs can, with just a little bit of peace, goodwill and love on our part, be friends again like we were before.Have City issued a letter of apology yet?
Even if none of this had happened I doubt that raving sociopath would have managed to control himself.I’m sure Jurgen will have plenty to say about it at his prematch conference next Friday. The Bingo boxing gloves will be back on after a period of not talking about City during the brief friendship.
You would think just for once given the tragedies this club as been involved in they would accept the decision with good grace and humility.
Great point. That’s true. So they’ve done this on purpose to shit stir in the media again. They really are horrible b@stards!
