Liverpool (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Isnt it up to “proper” blues to take the initiative and buy the tickets before tourists or is it the season ticket holders not bothering to go and selling them on the internet?
They're snapped up by ticket agencies, presumably with the blessing of the club. Probably affiliates.

Modern football.

I totally agree. They are 90% a fucking horrible, weird, cult like bunch. But in south stand 3 just after they had scored, I was ashamed to be a city fan. Two dipper fans stupidly were in our end and got rumbled. They weren't celebrating or being dicks. When they were ‘persuaded’ to leave, on there way out they were attacked, punched, kicked and thrown down the steepest stairs in word football. Cowards kicking fuck out of them as they tried to get out. It was like a pack of fucking monkey’s. There was blood on the stairs and in the block entrance/exit when we left. Totally uncalled for and made us look every bit as bad as we think they are. Made me realise we are as bad as them, which I never thought I’d EVER say. It made the rest of the game irrelevant for me and has stayed with me all night. I’m so sick of everything about this wank country. I’m sure the hundreds of kids sitting around us would have learnt so much. Well done dick heads.
And, I bet they wouldn’t have done it if they hadn’t outnumbered them.

Pure shithouses.

There’s some proper delusional dippers about.
They genuinely believe Twunt had Doku “in his pocket” for the whole game.
They had to double and triple up on him cos Twunt couldn’t defend a parking space.
I know, dippers = delusional.

Liverpool fans and their Messiah Chief Crying Horse fucking piss me off and nauseate me at the same time.

I felt with about 30 to play we were taking the foot well off and feeling we had it. Gotta be more incisive with finishes and less wasteful as well as ruthless vs. these teams who can pull a goal out toward the end.

SC holders can sell their ticket on seat exchange and anybody with a membership can buy it. I guess touts sell them on.

Ticket agencies will almost certainly have memberships for every PL club, giving them wide and easy access to seat exchange type schemes.

As I said earlier, SS3 back row seats are said to have been resold by agencies with a free programme for £70 under the guise of 'hospitality'.

The club don't care as long as bums are on seats.

Well it doesn't help when Sky give him MOTM.... What the fuck is that all about?

Doku made the most dribbles in the last 10 years or something and the player he dribbled past for a record number of times gets MOTM.... We already knew what we were up against but they could try and make it less obvious

It was completely ott. And you’re right nobody could be as bad as them, but these guys were obviously not your typical scum fans. It was totally ott
The worst aggro I’ve seen in recent years was at the 2018 LC Final, that time it was City fans knocking lumps out of each other. I was surprised cos I thought all that shit was behind us, obviously not.

Think everyone else (from what I’ve seen) gave Doku motm.
Sky - scum and dipper tv.
I saw this somewhere too IMG_9977.jpeg
Summed both their games up perfectly.

A lot of the club advertised hospitality packages include General Admission tickets, those are bog standard seats including a nosh at the Vermillion ‘offsite’ or wherever for about £200. I know an Everton fan who gets hospitality for their games at City through the official City web site.

Alvarez has been piss poor this last couple of months but we don't really have an option to replace him with.
He's been poor due to being played out of position and we're not seeing his natural game. Unless Haaland is out, I don't think we'll see him getting any starts when KDB is back.

Doku is a very clever player about 50% of the time, then the other 50% is frustrating as f*ck. He had the beating of taa every time, yet the number of times he turned round and passed it backwards was very frustrating. He also doesn't try very hard to get the ball back if he loses it (Foden was also very guilty of this today).

Yeah he can be a bit unpredictable but he’s a young kid in an unfamiliar country playing in the most difficult league in the world

The impact he’s made is miles above what anybody expected. Just wait until he settles in and he learns exactly how to play in a pep team

He’s gonna be phenomenal

It's a risk you take if you're in the opposition end. I've done it a few times and got away with it but you have to keep quiet. Even that's not always enough to stop you getting rumbled. At Blackburn when we got promoted after about 20 minutes I was sussed out. It was probably earlier as I could hear whisperings and was getting some looks. No colours and I kept quiet but you don't sing their songs, don't get excited when they are attacking and don't celebrate if they score. It's not hard to work out. I was told I'd be okay so long as I didn't jump up if we scored and I was. I was more concerned with getting grassed to the stewards and kicked out but I was respectful so there was no problem.

How did people know they were Liverpool fans? Did they celebrate when they scored? It's a volatile fixture with a club who's fans are rightly despised for all the shithousery against our club and fanbase. Football is emotive and tribal and although hooliganism is mostly under control now it still simmers below the surface. Once one or two start more will join in as all they see is Liverpool fans in their end taking liberties, whether that is the reality or not. If there is one fixture you don't want to be in amongst away fans it's today. I'm not condoning the violence by the way but I understand why it happened.
