Liverpool Post Match

What exactly do we do in training all week?
We don't work on fitness as we're dead on our feet most of the time.
We don't work on set pieces as we're continuously gash at them.
We don't seem to work on formations or any type of gamelan so what exactly does go on?
We have arguably one of the best if not the best set of facilities now at the new complex yet it seems like we spend all our time there in the canteen reading about one of our players talking a big game but ultimately not delivering it on the pitch

Playing an XI with Kun, Silva, Nasri, Yaya, Dzeko in a team is suicide.

If Dzeko and Aguero had an understanding like Bergkamp and Henry maybe you play 2 up front. They don't. So it has to be one up front.

Don't play all 3 of Yaya, Silva and Nasri at the same time. Milner or Navas, one of them plays.

So Back 4

then

Fernandinho, Fernando

Navas, Yaya, Silva

Kun

Long term Fernando not good enough but atm he plays.

There are big problems with that team not to mention we have two 30 million pound strikers seriously pissed off, the make up of the squad is not what it should be, the signing of Bony and sending Jovetic to Coventry has made matters worse

We are in a similar position to the rags to a certain extent but luckily our players are better as individuals, Van Gaal is desperately tinkering and failing while MP prefers to delude himself

We didn't seem to have any idea what the plan was today. Liverpool thoroughly deserved the victory today.

Far better side first half, disappointed with how we came out second half, I think we handed the initiative to the scousers. Lost to a wonderful strike that nine out of ten times ends up in the stands.

Think its disgusting how so many blues dance to the pundits tune, Neville and Carragher one a died in the wool rag and another a died in the wool scouser jumping on 442 as soon as they could - this is the agenda in full flow.

I saw a game that we bossed in the first half and Liverpool got the upper hand in the second, they were at home, its not the end of the world or a sign that we need a radical squad re-think - we're second in the league ffs, if we've got so many problems (allegedly) what does that say for the other 18 teams in the league ?

Had Silva and Aguero had their shooting boots on,we would have got a draw. Also, not a mention of a blatant penalty on Zaba. Anywhere else on the pitch a foul is given, but unsurprisingly not a peep from the pundits and one solitary replay with it completely glossed over.

Liverpool are world beaters today apparently and Rodgers is getting everything right, but only 3 days earlier they were going out to Besiktas in the Europa. Considering the stick we have been getting losing to one of the best teams in world football then surely Liverpool need to restructure their whole squad ?

The difference today was they got the goal, we didn't.

If you can't see that was nothing other than a piss-poor, shambolic performance you need your head testin'.

I was satisfied in the first half, second half was poor but we still created some decent openings and we wouldn't be getting this knee jerk nonsense had Kun or Silva taken those clear chances they had in the second half. 'Shambolic' is an over emotional reaction to a very disappoining (for every City fan) result.

I'm disappointed but level headed enough to realise you aren't always going to produce your 'A' game every match.

I don't understand how a team which played on Thursday night in Turkey, can press and hound team which had an extra 2 days rest and stayed in England?

Do we actually practice hounding and harassing when we don't have the ball?

It was just absolutely baffling seeing our players watching Liverpool players doing what they want on the ball.

Arsenal 4 points behind us, Rags 5, Liverpool 7. We better watch our back. with 2 wins in last 9 competitive matches nothing is impossible.

You been in a coma for 5 months fella, this isn't about today

Difference between the teams was simple they constantly
harried when not in possession we didn't.
Both goals were preventable if we pressed more
especially the first but Henderson had plenty of time to
look up and pick his spot.If we're goin to win the big games
away from home we really need to stop this pedestrian
pish spells in a match that we always have.
