Liverpool Post Match

Why have we just paid 20 odd million for a new striker, who was the TOP goalscorer in the Premier League in 2014, and continue to bring him on for the last twenty minutes?

Does not make sense to me at all........

Don't get me started on Vincent....He's not bothered if he has the odd bad game...........ffs!

We can still do it.......Come on City.....

Far better side first half, disappointed with how we came out second half, I think we handed the initiative to the scousers. Lost to a wonderful strike that nine out of ten times ends up in the stands.

Think its disgusting how so many blues dance to the pundits tune, Neville and Carragher one a died in the wool rag and another a died in the wool scouser jumping on 442 as soon as they could - this is the agenda in full flow.

I saw a game that we bossed in the first half and Liverpool got the upper hand in the second, they were at home, its not the end of the world or a sign that we need a radical squad re-think - we're second in the league ffs, if we've got so many problems (allegedly) what does that say for the other 18 teams in the league ?

Had Silva and Aguero had their shooting boots on,we would have got a draw. Also, not a mention of a blatant penalty on Zaba. Anywhere else on the pitch a foul is given, but unsurprisingly not a peep from the pundits and one solitary replay with it completely glossed over.

Liverpool are world beaters today apparently and Rodgers is getting everything right, but only 3 days earlier they were going out to Besiktas in the Europa. Considering the stick we have been getting losing to one of the best teams in world football then surely Liverpool need to restructure their whole squad ?

The difference today was they got the goal, we didn't.

If you can't see that was nothing other than a piss-poor, shambolic performance you need your head testin'.

It was a good game of entertaining football. Yes we had a bad second half, but it wasn't shambolic, a long way from that. I'd take our playstyle over Chelsea's anyday.

Sorry, but if we think that was good entertaining football we are in trouble. I'd guess we gave the ball away more in this game than any game in the last 4 years. We were truely dreadful. If that's what now constitutes a good game, we may as well just go and watch Sunday morning football.

Not enough players prepared to get their hands dirty and graft for the win.
The usual boo-boys such as Mangala, Kolarov and Dzeko were not the problem but the players who went to WC (exc Sergio) look like they're running on empty.
Pelle needs to forget reputations and past glories and pick the players who are willing and able to battle for 90 minutes every week, secure CL qualification without a nail biting end to the season and we'll see where we are at season's end regarding who stays and leaves.

There were two teams on the pitch having a go at each other, therefore in my eyes it was entertaining, we lost because they were better than us in the second half

Arsenal 4 points behind us, Rags 5, Liverpool 7. We better watch our back. with 2 wins in last 9 competitive matches nothing is impossible.

This. These sort of games you can easily lose but its not Chelsea we need to keep our eye on now, forget the title, top 4 qualification is not guaranteed the form we are in. Even if we finish 4th and have to play a qualifying game in the CL, I dread to think who we would draw knowing our luck so top 3 for me is the target this season.
Automatic CL qualification, a better summer transfer market and challenge for the title next season

our players are bullies, love leathering shit teams , when it comes to battling against good teams they talk a good game but then turn into big shithouses. The manager cant escape criticism, the huge spaces between the midfield and defence make us easy to play against. What happened to our solid defence? we used to be so hard to beat. One defeat too many for me this season, end of the road...P45 awaits

Anyone else furious at the lack of urgency in those final few minutes. Watching kolarov going through the motions with those throw ins was painful to see. Only Silva, Zabba and Sergio seem to want it today.
