Liverpool Thread 2011/12

Re: Liverpool Thread 2012

Got to love what Newcastle do with the small budget they have...

Ba and Cissé are real value for money unlike a certain striker at Liverpool.

Could also be said they look better value for money than two of our strikers. :/

I don't understand why teams haven't looked at players like this more often rather than the usual bunch of British journeymen who seem to pop up at a dozen clubs. A team like Liverpool could go and sign someone like Martin Harnik from Stuttgart for maybe £8million and he'd probably outscore Carroll and Suarez. So many bargains to be had yet teams keep falling into the same trap of "British is best".

Maybe they will throw £30 million our way for Johnson and Milner in the summer

Have you banged your head??

You seriously don't believe two superior players could not be purchased/acquired for that amount??

I'd be happy to see AJ go there (or anywhere), but I hope we keep Jimmy.
