What happened to the Dempsey to liverpool rumors? I thought that was pretty nailed on. Him, Allen and Borini could really give them a platform to compete with spurs. This year, could really be their year.

The best thing the Dippers have done is clear a lot of money of the wage bill. Aquilani,Kuyt,Bellamy,Maxi etc - would all have been close to top Dollar.

It does put them in a position to regroup thats if they give the Manager time. A bad start and I would half expect Rafa to be sat in the crowd with Ian Rush or someone shaking his head adding more pressure to Rodgers.

I personally am willing to give rodgers 3 years , given he needs time to build the squad , he would have analyzed the squad by next summer so will be in a better position to make changes to the squad to suit whatever style he wants to implement , most of our fans are willing to give him time , but there's always a few who lack common sense and agenda driven , but we can't do anything about them , can we?
