We save £16m a year if cole goes too , apparently allen is on only £45k a week so we look good in that area

I personally am willing to give rodgers 3 years , given he needs time to build the squad , he would have analyzed the squad by next summer so will be in a better position to make changes to the squad to suit whatever style he wants to implement , most of our fans are willing to give him time , but there's always a few who lack common sense and agenda driven , but we can't do anything about them , can we?

( can you just refer to us as 'liverpool' fans? )

How about we meet half way ?? dipperpool ??

Well , do you mean like 'man shitty' ?

Yes 'Man Shitty' and dipperpool are our bog roll.

£16m a year???? That would put him on £300k a week! Liverpool fans and their maths! I seem to remember that the sages on RAWK were saying that the fact that Carroll was on less money then Aguero would mean he was a far better buy when judged over his full contract. Do they still think that?

It will be interesting to see what happens at Liverpool this season. You are right to say that Rodgers needs 3 years to analyse the squad and make changes but it begs the question of how much he benefitted from Martinez's near 3 years at Swansea. And as we know from Mark Hughes, getting a team of unfancied players with little expectation to punch above their weight is not the same as managing a team of stars with high expectations.

I see Liverpool lineing up something like this next season -

Reina
Johnson-Skrtel-Agger-Enrique
Allen-Adam
Gerrard
Suarez-Borini-Downing

looks like a well balanced, half decent side to me.

Yea your owners have done a great job of reducing your wage bill, but a terrible one at improving your squad

LOL! Point taken. I didn't read your post properly. But I do wonder how much your owners' strategy is around maximising profits/returns based on Liverpool's standing and history without necessarily achieving success.
