looks like a well balanced, half decent side to me.

Replace Adam with Lucas, and Downing with Sterling, and I would agree.

Is that not embarassing for a club of lpools stature and istree, not competing for the best players but begging for loans from clubs much bigger than you and he still wont make you a competitive team.

He will be there for a year just to get match fitness before moving on and thats if he is a success which is by no means guaranteed. Its so amusing that just because a player plays for real madrid or barcelona etc then they must be world beaters bottom line is if he was a world beater hed playing there and they wouldnt be desparately trying to sign modric would they.

Whats your point exactly? Yaya toure was playing at barcelona won 2 european cups there? And we didnt loan yaya either we bought him, im not to sure what point you're making with regards to mascherano as he was an established player when he went there, my point is if sahin was so good why are they not looking to play him instead of signing modric?

Your comment about worldbeaters not being released by Real and Barca, Yaya was not really wanted by Barca, allowed him to leave as they fancied Mascherano more, as Real do now with Modric. Mistakes or different opinions of players occur.
